I click on the "Monitor" tab like the help instructions say, and there is no option "Update Lists By Scan".

Here are Kaseya's instructions that I followed:

# Counters - If your monitoring set includes a counter that does not exist on a managed machine, the log displays Not Responding. You can troubleshoot the monitoring of counters for a specific machine in two ways:

* Use the Monitor > Update Lists By Scan page to scan for all monitor counters and services for that specific machine ID.

Hi Dillard,

The "Update Lists By Scan" option allows an agent to be scanned and any Windows performance counter definitions, service names, and event log categories found that are not already present on the Kaseya server to be added to the server and made globally available.

Because this option has global effect on the server, it is not made available to Kaseya customers in a hosted Kaseya environment.

Although this feature is not available to customers directly, their custom objects can still be added to the server and made available:

1. Custom performance counters / services:

Submit a request via a form available on the CSD website:

http://www.cloudservicesdepot.com/Monitor-Request

A request will be sent to CSD support, and the requested objects will be manually added to the Kaseya server and made accessible by the CSD staff.

2. Additional event log categories:

Please contact CSD support with the name of the agent that contains the event log categories not currently present on the Kaseya server and CSD will manually scan the agent, adding missing categories to the server.
